Dr. Robert M. Kelso graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2002, and completed a General Practice Residency at UT Hospital in Knoxville in 2003. Dr. Kelso is now a faculty member of the UT Graduate School of Medicine where he returns to teach the residents. He is a current staff member at the University of Tennessee Hospital. Prior to studying at Dental School, he attended Birmingham-Southern College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Kelso has kept up to date on many continuing education classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, Special Care Dentistry, the American Association of Hospital Dentists, and the Oral Design & Implant Study Club. Dr. Kelso also participates in Donated Dental Services (DDS) through the National Foundation of Dentistry For The Handicapped, a charitable affiliate of the American Dental Association. Through this program he provides dentistry to underserved persons with disabilities.

Dr. Kelso is a native of Knoxville and is married to his wife Allison. They have two children, Sam and Molly.
